I am a Civil Engineering: Construction and Facilities Management student with experience in government, engineering research, and facilities operations. I am motivated by public service and focused on applying technical and leadership skills to support effective, people-centered solutions in both Public and Private spheres. I am excited to get to know you and your organization!
I have always been drawn to disciplines and environments that reward patience, structure, and long-term thinking. From an early age, I learned that meaningful progress is rarely accidental—it comes from consistency, preparation, and a willingness to take responsibility for details that others might overlook. These principles have shaped how I approach my education, leadership roles, and professional experiences.
I began playing the violin at the age of four and continued through high school, an experience that instilled discipline and respect for deliberate practice. Musical training demanded focus, accountability, and a commitment to improvement over time. Success was never immediate; it required repetition, refinement, and learning to perform under pressure. Those lessons have carried forward into my academic and professional life, particularly in environments where precision and preparation matter.
Alongside music, I developed an early interest in problem-solving and systems. In my free time, I built simple robots and wrote simple code to control them, experimenting with how mechanical components, logic, and programming interact to create functional outcomes. These projects fostered a curiosity about how complex systems are designed, tested, and improved. That curiosity eventually matured into a broader interest in construction, facilities management, and organizational operations—fields where technical understanding and coordination are equally essential.
I also enjoy chess, which has strengthened my ability to think strategically and anticipate outcomes beyond the immediate move. Chess reinforced the importance of planning, adaptability, and understanding trade-offs, particularly when operating within constraints. This mindset influences how I approach decision-making, whether in leadership roles, academic projects, or professional settings, where foresight and measured judgment are critical.
A significant portion of my leadership development has come through my involvement with Turning Point USA - Brigham Young University, where I serve as Treasurer. In this role, I played a central part in establishing the chapter’s financial infrastructure, including creating an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and navigating the IRS nonprofit process to ensure long-term legitimacy and compliance as well as creating a template for other Chapters to use. This experience required close attention to legal and administrative detail, coordination with university policies, and a strong emphasis on financial transparency and accountability. Managing these responsibilities taught me the importance of institutional continuity, risk management, and protecting student leaders from personal liability—skills that extend far beyond campus organizations.
My professional growth has also been shaped by multiple internship experiences in structured, high-responsibility environments. These roles exposed me to professional operations, communication standards, and organizational expectations while reinforcing the importance of reliability and initiative. Rather than observing from the sidelines, I was expected to contribute, learn quickly, and maintain a high level of professionalism—experiences that sharpened my ability to adapt and perform in demanding settings.
Another defining chapter in my personal and leadership development was my missionary service. This experience required discipline, resilience, and the ability to communicate clearly with individuals from diverse backgrounds. It strengthened my capacity for accountability, time management, and service-oriented leadership, while reinforcing the value of integrity and consistency in everyday actions. The lessons learned during this period continue to influence how I approach teamwork, responsibility, and interpersonal relationships.
Taken together, these experiences—musical discipline, technical curiosity, strategic thinking, nonprofit leadership, professional internships, and service—have shaped my perspective and work ethic. I value environments that prioritize accountability, preparation, and long-term impact, and I am motivated by opportunities where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow as a professional and leader.
